Macen | Las Plumas High School Class of 2017 | Oroville, CA Senior Portrait Session

When Macen and I planned out his Senior Portrait Session. He wanted to showcase his hometown of Oroville, CA.

Northern California has a plethora of beautiful areas to photograph! From mountain tops, to forests, to the (now) infamous Oroville Dam. This session took place just a few weeks before the news broke about the Oroville Dam Spillway was eroding, so there are some very unique and probably never will be seen again spots (due to the massive erosions from water) in this shoot!!

This shot was taken just 200 yards from the spillway!

As you can see, Macen (like myself) is a big Doctor Who fan. He was able to incorporate it subtly in some of our shots.

Macen also owns a pet (yes pet) steer! His name is Morpheus and they saved him from being someones veal! GO MACEN!

This is Macen’s other buddy GiGi! Before you ask, she’s a Corgi. She is a Cardigan Welsh Corgi and she is a rescue dog!

How handsome is Macen in these Heashots? Some of these were taken at the Historic Lott Home  which is also a museum.

Oroville is also just FULL of old buildings! These are located near the new Centennial Plaza area and I couldn’t pass them up!

The light was just DREAMY that day! We lucked out!

I adore a good black and white portrait!

I hope you enjoyed this set! Senior Portraits with me aren’t just for girls! Session packages for boys are located in my Class of 2017/2018 Seniors Magazine under the Onyx and Copper packages!

Gorgeous as always Lacey! And such special place to have his senior portraits taken. I am sure he will treasure these photos after the spillway erosion at Oroville.

Hello! This is kind of off topic but I need some help from an established blog.
Is it very hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but
I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about setting up my own but I’m
not sure where to begin. Do you have any ideas or suggestions?
