2022 Vision
You might recognize this face already if you’ve followed me on social media @laceymc OR you’ve attended one of the recent conferences I’ve taught at… honestly if you follow Lacey M. Carroll photography at all in the last four years. Gracie has been modeling in front of my camera since she was 14 and I just can’t believe she’s going to graduate from high school this year! I was honored to spend her 18th birthday with her during our trip to Austin Tx for the Push 2021 conference. She is such a delight to be around and to work with on photoshoots. She’s a member of my LMCP Team 2021/22 and you can tell she’s comfortable and confident in front of the camera! She’s signed with an amazing local agency, Cast Images too! There is so much to celebrate and be proud of when it comes to Gracie! Class of 2022, a top athlete at school in soccer and softball, scholarship offers, and a signed model. There’s nothing this girl can’t do!
We usually have the whole LMCP Team around so it was great to finally get to Gracie’s Senior Session and to just have Gracie to focus on for her Senior Portraits session. We were joined by an amazing Hair and Make up team for her session. Heather Grabin and Elysa Quintella were with us to get Gracie ready for all three of her looks.
I really loved the progression of Gracie’s looks throughout the day. She started out with just accentuating her natural curl, and light makeup with this really fun casual look. Gracie loved this outfit as she felt it captured a polished version of her everyday look. It’s important to capture that as a senior photographer, since these are the images my clients will look back on in 25-50 years to remember who they were in this moment in time. This location in Downtown Sacramento, is one of my FAVORITES. I love matching the styling and location to allow for the best images.
After her casual look, we turned to Boho. Gracie is truly a nature girl in her heart and I loved this look because it captured her beauty AND some nature. Heather took the natural curl and turned it into a wonderful braided low side pony. It looked so good with this hat from my LMCP Style Closet! Elyse bronzed Grace up a bit and gave her a softer lip for our outdoor locations. She looked stunning in every shot!
It was a SUPER chilly day, so we happily headed back to the studio, to end out our day. This BEAUTIFUL updo by Heather and the smoky eye and bolder lip by Elysa turned out GORGEOUS. And this outfit is TO DIE FOR! I’ve had this cool top in my LMC Style Closet for a few years, and Gracie is the first to choose it for a session and it looks AMAZING on her!
Creating senior portraits is one of my favorite parts of my job, I love creating a space where seniors and teens feel comfortable and proud to be in front of my camera. From your photoshoot mood board to the fashion consults, the photoshoot, and gallery reveals there’s never a dull moment.
Hey Class of 2023, I see you! It’s time for you to schedule your Senior Portraits with me! I’m booking for the Fall as we speak and I'd hate for you to miss out because you waited to book with me too late!
