APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN THROUGH APRIL 4TH! |

Being on the LMCP SENIOR SQUAD, you do more than just take gorgeous photos! Along with doing your own photo session, we create a community of fellow class of 2025 Seniors who support one another. We provide opportunities to socialize, group photoshoots, build confidence and learn fun skills!

You’re about to enter your Senior year of High School… and with that, the anticipation of your senior photos. You’ve stumbled across this page about the LMCP Senior Squad and wondering why it's necessary to be part of one during your senior year? After all, wouldn't it be simpler to just book a photographer and call it a day? But the answer might catch you off guard... With LMCP it's all about the EXPERIENCE—being apart of unforgettable moments, sharing them with existing friends, and forging connections with new ones you’ll meet on the team!

What is a Senior Squad/Model Team/Rep Team?

Think of it like this: if you're a high school senior looking to capture some amazing moments before graduation, a Senior Squad or Rep Team is your ticket to an unforgettable experience. Here's how it works:

Photographers who specialize in senior portraits often create these teams to connect with upcoming seniors like yourself. They handpick a group of seniors—usually through referrals or applications—to represent their brand. That's where you come in!

If you're chosen to be part of a Senior Squad, you get to work closely with the photographer to showcase their style and vision. It's like being their ambassador, sharing your awesome senior photo journey with your friends and classmates.

Now, let's talk about LMCP—yeah, that's me! I'm one of those photographers who started a Senior Squad way back when. And guess what? Now I teach other photographers how to do the same thing. Pretty cool, right?

Here's the best part: being part of a Senior Squad is all about having fun and creating memories. You don't have to stress about anything—just enjoy the experience and share your stories with your friends.

So, if you're a soon-to-be senior looking for an epic way to capture your final year of high school, joining a Senior Squad or Rep Team could be just the thing for you. Trust me, it's an opportunity you won't want to miss!

How did LMCP Teams Get Started?

Every year, I eagerly open applications for the next graduating class to join the LMCP Senior Squad team! What started with just four girls has blossomed into one of the most sought-after senior year experiences in the Sacramento community. My team has included students from various schools across the Sacramento Area, such as Christian Brothers High School, Jesuit High School, Rio Americano High School, Woodcreek High School, West Campus High School, Saint Francis High School, Roseville High School, Franklin High School, Granite Bay High School, C.K. McClatchy High School, John F. Kennedy High School, Sheldon High School, Vista Del Lago High School, Folsom Lake High School, Pleasant Grove High School, Natomas High School, West Park High School, and many more!

In the past, I've had as many as 25 seniors on the team, but now I typically accept between 5-15, depending on the year. Due to the growing interest and limited spots available, I now conduct an application process to select the best candidates based on referrals and questionnaire responses. But don’t fret! I'm simply looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about being part of something special.

My goal each year is to assemble a diverse group of seniors. I don't believe in a "one size fits all" approach to photography; instead, I celebrate individual beauty and talents. Diversity, to me, means embracing a multitude of perspectives, body types, cultures, backgrounds, and experiences.

We love having seniors with varying interests, from dance to soccer to art or theatre, and more! If you're ready to be part of this incredible experience, I can't wait to meet you!

Being part of the LMCP Senior Squad opens doors to meet new people from different schools and form friendships that last a lifetime. Since the Class of 2014, I've been working with Senior teams, and over the past 10 years, it has evolved into an incredible opportunity—a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

  1. Session Retainer and Investment: Once accepted, to secure your spot on the team and a shoot date, a session retainer is required. This retainer will be applied as a credit towards your session. Please note that session upgrades, print collections, digital collections, and all photo products are sold separately. On average, families of LMCP Senior clients invest between $2000-$6000 after purchasing print and digital products. Additionally, LMCP team members may need to cover hair and makeup costs for additional shoots at a discounted rate.

  2. Preparation and Participation: While wardrobe is occasionally provided, you may also be asked to bring items from home or purchase items for your shoots. Additionally, nail preparation such as painting or getting a manicure/pedicure may be required for themed and editorial shoots. Rest assured, I work closely with all Senior team models to ensure they have the right looks for each shoot.

IS THE SENIOR SQUAD FREE?

No Additional Fees: Rest assured, there are absolutely no mandatory additional fees from LMCP to join the Senior Squad. However, there is an Additional Expectation to purchase one additional Hair and Makeup Artist (HMUA) service for the end-of-season editorial shoot, however that goes directly to the HMUA and not LMCP

Optional Fees: Occasionally a photoshoot location will share a fee which will be shared among all participants.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?

Eligibility: Only clients who agree to purchase Top-Tier sessions and Top-Tier product packages with LMCP will be considered for the Senior Squad. By opting for the Top-Tier packages, you unlock a plethora of extra perks and opportunities. For seniors in the Class of 2025, the fee is approximately $2500+tax. This fee includes participation in up to 4 themed shoots, which holds a value of over $1500 on its own.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

  1. Payment Plans Available: Yes, I do offer payment plans! I understand that everyone's financial situation is different, so I'm here to work with you to figure out a plan that suits your needs.

  2. Additional Cost: However, please note that there is an extra cost to cover the multiple service fees associated with payment plans.

  3. Customized Plans: We'll have a one-on-one chat to discuss your options and tailor a payment plan that works best for you. We can structure it into up to 4 payments for your convenience.

  4. Payment Deadline: It's important to note that the payment must be paid in full before your individual session date. However, you can still participate in group and themed shoots before your payment is complete.

IS EVERY PHOTOSHOOT STYLED + INCLUDES HAIR & MAKEUP?

  1. Styled Photoshoots: Not all photoshoots will include Hair and Makeup Artist (HMUA) services. While some shoots may have HMUA included, most will not.

  2. Emphasis on Individuality: My goal is to capture the real you, so it's essential to bring pieces of your own wardrobe to our sessions. Your personal style matters! I have an extensive closet available for all LMCP Seniors to borrow from or browse through to enhance their looks. Additionally, I strive to provide accessories to complement your outfits.

  3. Compensation for HMUA: During the end-of-season editorial session, the hair and makeup team will need to be compensated for their time. Rest assured, all seniors will receive detailed information about this arrangement.

HOW MANY SENIORS DO YOU ACCEPT?

I’m doing things a little differently this year. I want to have a smaller team, however, I typically only accept 1-2 from each school/studio/team so scheduling can be fair. I also love it when friends are able to join together, so make sure to invite them!

DO WE HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO MODEL?

ABSOLUTELY NOT! I have had clients who have never been in front of a professional camera before and others who are old pros! As long as you’re willing to have fun, take direction and show up, you are a spokesmodel! This isn’t just about taking gorgeous photos, this is a program for young people to feel like they can shine and be seen!
