Shooting editorial beauty is a passion of mine. And you don't have to be in New York, London or Los Angeles to be an editorial beauty photographer. You can shoot for global magazines right here in Sacramento if you put the work in. Furthermore, editorial beauty may create opportunities for travel.I love working with pastels, and bright colors. In this shoot, I brought Sara Garcia Makeup Artistry, Nail Artist; Bethany of Earth, Wind & File and model Crissy Kay together again for this set. All in all, it was a dream team. For one thing, Crissy is an amazing model. She is capable of shooting everything from lifestyle to editorial, and quirky to commercial. Also she isn't afraid to show off a range of looks from giggly and happy to that signature serious 'model face'. Several of these images were published in the June Issue of Picton Magazine. Check out the tear sheets below! Interested in more of my published commercial and editorial beauty shoots?
