Sometimes you get the opportunity to create a dreamy, Bridgerton inspired editorial photoshoot with some of your favorite people. Sometimes, those days run so smoothly and the vision you see in your mind becomes a reality. Sometimes, those images become even better than what you had imagined in the first place. THIS time was exactly that. We brought Edwardian realness to my Sacramento photo studio and we created some of my most beloved Lacey M. Carroll Photography images of 2022. I’ve worked with Katelynn, out model many times before this photoshoot. She’s a staple in the modeling industry in San Francisco, Sacramento, and New York City. I absolutely love working with her. She is so chill and down to earth. She is also extremely skilled in the practice of posing. She creates strong lines and soft edges. I absolutely love letting her do her thing while I capture from behind my lens. To add Heather Grabin ad Sara Garcia as our HMUA was the cherry on top!
We started inside my Sacramento Photo studio in front of my soft pink fabric backdrop that I softened and highlighted with various pink gels. It gave us a soft pink hue that played into the very romantic style of our photoshoot. Kate’s accessories are all from the LMC Style Closet. We had some fun creating the floral stockings and kept the accessories simple to compliment the dramatic volume from this rainbow inspired Selkie dress.
We then headed to a field by my Sacramento Photostudio and captured some truly stunning images. I literally rolled over from seeing them in my camera! (Actual footage saved in my Behind The Scenes Highlights on my IG.) The wild onion blooms were budding at the perfect moment. We absolutely used our surroundings to create the most immaculate Bridgerton romantic vibes. Thank you to the whole crew and to Kate for being a part of such a fun photoshoot.
