I have not had the opportunity to do Sacramento Family Portraits as often as I would like. However, this family session is one of my favorites. Heather is one my friends and a great hair stylist that I often use for my clients.  So when she wanted to do a family session I was only too happy to be her photographer.Heather and her partner Paul along with the adorable Haley and the little ham Joshua made for a very fun photoshoot.  There were bad jokes, tickle fights and even a scrapped knee.  It was a true family affair.As a family, Heather wanted them to have coordinated outfits without looking t0o matching. So Heather decided to take advantage of my Styling guide. I created a custom shopping guide for complimentary colors and silhouettes while matching their price point. The Guide included links to the clothing I suggested.  Then I had them shop at Kohl's and Target to get the outfits.  I also Suggested that Heather try this skirt from Amazon that tends to look flattering on everyone.As you can see, everyone looked great. Haley and Joshua were so adorable.  We ended up doing the shoot near one of my favorite spots by the American River.  Unfortunately, there was some construction happening nearby so it was a bit of an adventure avoiding that.
