Sacramento Senior Portraits with Sydney |Lacey M. Carroll Photography
Congratulations to this 2023 Senior! I am so happy for and proud of Sydney for being one of the many stellar Sacramento Seniors to graduate this Spring and to also invest in getting her Senior Portraits with Lacey M. Carroll Photography.
I have always prided myself on being the place for seniors to come and feel comfortable and excited for their Senior Portraits. My style is bright, fun, poppy, and editorial - all words I would use to describe Sydney too!
I first met Sydney and her mom, Kim when they booked a Portfolio Development Package with me in 2021. We had a full day around Sacramento modeling amazing styles from the LMC Style Closet. You can read about it here! We bonded instantly and Sydney decided to join me for her Senior Year on the LMCP Team! It was so fun working with Sydney all year long on various photoshoots for Editorial magazines, Team Photoshoots, and for her Senior Couture Session this past March.
We met up at my Sacramento photo studio to get Sydney’s hair and make up done for the day. We had two fantastic artists with us to create the picture perfect look for Syd!
Heather Grabin worked with her amazing hair and Mai gave her the best face of makeup around!
We headed to Midtown Sacramento first to get some fun in the sun pictures in her first outfit and then in her cap and gown! We headed back to my photo studio in her sundress to shoot at the field by my studio. It was in perfect bloom and that set of pictures turned out to be my favorite.
We headed to the American River Parkway to shoot some special bonus editorial images in one of my gowns from the LMC Style Closet. We headed further into the park in Sydney’s final look and even got into the river! You would never know it from these images but the water was FREEZING. Especially since it was still winter and California has had record rainfall and cold temperatures. These were taken in between two major storm systems that week. We lucked out on weather for this photoshoot.
I lucked out when I met Sydney and her mom Kim! Thank you both for trusting in my vision and for choosing me to be your Photographer during such important years in your life. I cannot wait to work more with you on Commercial and Editorial Photoshoot projects in the future.
