Sneaker Head Photoshoot in Sacramento

Kaedyn is the definition of a kind and driven young lady! I had the pleasure of working with her for a New Year’s Eve BFF mini session with her real life BFF, Mya in 2022 and from then on I KNEW I had to have this little firecracker on my LMCP team! She joined our LMCP Team for the 23-24 season along side her BFF Mya and we have had an incredible year all together. I love Kaedyn’s kindness, her brilliance, and her sense of humor! We also both have an affinity for shoes! Her and her mom collect sneakers and would admit to you they are sneakerheads! So any sneakerheads in Sacramento looking for a special photoshoot celebrating your collection of kicks…look no further. We have the experience!

I absolutely loved the first look we shot with her cream two piece menswear inspired set in front of our custom-made palm and ivy photo wall. I love making sets for my professional portrait studio nestled on the borders of Sacramento City and Rancho Cordova. I find it’s a wonderful location to get the best of all that Sacramento County has to offer. We are a close drive to Downtown Sacramento (where the rest of Kaedyn’s photoshoot took place), the American River Parkway, Midtown Sacramento, Folsom Lake, Land Park, Southside Park, even Elk Grove! There are so many beautiful outdoor locations for junior and senior portraits and I feel lucky I get to work in Sacramento to take advantage of the myriad of photoshoot locations!

The location is only made more beautiful because of its subject. Kaedyn is gorgeous from the inside out. So it was easy work for our HMUA team to give Kaedyn her dream hair and makeup for her Posh Teen Session. Big shout out to Mai Artistry and Heather Grabin for Kaedyn’s makeup and hair at this portrait session.

Downtown Sacramento - Posh Teen Session

1. What made you choose Lacey M Carroll as your photographer for your Posh Teen Session?
I chose Lacey because I worked with her before and I loved the vibe between us. Lacey is so funny and we just get each other. I enjoy every shoot we have had so far and I’m so glad that I found her because she is very inclusive. Not many photographers are able to have diversity and make everyone look good but Lacey is able to make me feel even more confident and I love that about our sessions.

2. What did you envision your photoshoot would be like?
I envisioned it to be just as it was. Fun, enjoyable, and interactive. I was able to put my ideas out there and at the end of the day I was so happy with how it all came together.

3. Which look turned out to be your favorite?
I loved the jeans and the puffer jacket with my brown dunks. I loved the way the brown looked on my skin and I felt very comfortable in it.

4. What was your favorite moment of the photoshoot?
My favorite moment was when we were downtown and we were shooting in the green jacket. As well as when I slid down the staircase. That picture is so fire to me.

5. Was there anything you'd do differently if you got to do the photoshoot again?
I don’t really know what i’d do differently because I loved the shoot and look forward to doing it again!!

6. Anything you'd like to be included in the blog post about you and your experience?
Just that I had an amazing time and felt confident with myself and felt beautiful.

7. How has being on TeamLMCP impacted you?

It changed my life for the better. The pictures have helped me realize that I am beautiful and has also guided me to what I like to see myself in. I have expanded my clothing style due to the shoots.
