2024 Teen Styles - Thrifted Finds at Roseville’s Plato’s Closet
This is the second year in a row that Lacey M. Carroll Photography has partnered with Plato’s Closet in Roseville to show off the amazing second hand and eco conscious fashions that Plato’s has to offer. Sustainable Chic looks is what we are all about! The talent of styling found pieces into cohesive outfits is a skill that Lacey has been perfecting for decades! We got our 2024 LMCP Model Team to model some items that we found at this bustling thrift store near the Roseville Galleria for a special photoshoot.
Spring Break in California is generally when our seasons unofficially change from cool and rainy winter to bright and warm Spring. This transition season is perfect for adding layers that can easily be taken away when the temerpatures rise mid-afternoon. Especially in and around Sacramento, CA the temperature can change by 30 degrees Fahrenheit in a day! Something that all of our teens and high school seniors from TeamLMCP have in common is they love to pay with layering and textures. Lacey cottons paired with denim and leather can give you that Coastal Cowgirl vibes you’re looking for.
Corduroy was another popular grab from our teens! This fabric is soft to the touch and is a great base item to add texture, color, or detail to an outfit.
Jumpsuits of all shapes and styles are a mainstay! Jumpsuits are so versatile! You can have long pants, shorts, bows, prints, and textures!
Keep it casual yet chic with a denim jacket paired with a flowy skirt or dress for a laid-back, effortlessly cool look.
Whatever style you decide to rock this Spring, do so with some sustainable chic items from your local thrift shop or consignment store.
We hope these styles have inspired you to try something bold for your next outfit. Springtime vibes never go out of style! Remember to shop small and shop your thrift stores first to find your next favorite outfit!
