Everything’s Coming Up Coco | Portfolio Development Session
If you’ve never met Coco you’re about to be totally inspired and jealous at the same time. This pint-sized powerhouse has amassed an Instagram following of 44.9K followers, is signed with agencies in LA,SF, and NYC, and dances on the Sacramento Kings Junior916 Dance Crew. She’s also a member of my Tweens Team LMCP! There’s nothing Coco can’t do, from the moment I met Coco and her mom Tiffany I knew this mother daughter duo was going to take the world by storm. Come along with me as I take you through Coco’s Portfolio Development Collection session and see for yourself that this is just Coco’s world and we’re all just living in it!
We started our day on location at my favorite downtown Sacramento parking garage. Her mod outfit makes the teal iron work from this parking garage a perfect backdrop to her incredible posing. Coco is an incredible dancer who not only dances at halftime for the Sacramento Kings on the Junior 916Crew but is also a competition dancer traveling around the country for competitions. Makes traveling easy when your dad is pilot who can fly you personally to events! I admire the Weller family so much for all of their talents and interests.
Couldn’t leave these black and white images out! You may recognize these images from other pages on my website along with the cover image of this blog post!
We kept the mod vibes going by adding this adorable house coat inspired frock and hot pink doc martins as we made our way down K st. I love the shot we got of Coco as the Light Rail went by! Her dynamic pose juxtaposed with the moving train just makes me so happy. Big shout out to my HMUA team that joined us on this photoshoot day. Sara Garcia created amazing make looks for Coco that I thought popped on camera and were age appropriate. My favorite is the punchy peachy pink lip from our first look in the studio just below! the lovely, Heather Grabin created the hair styles for us. I absolutely love working with these incredible women. Any time we team up is a good time!
Fun fact! The image of Coco sipping on a La Croix was featured on all of La Croix’s social media pages! As an avid lover of the bubbly stuff it was like a dream come true to have our work featured on such a large platform. :)
Do you love this fuzzy pink sweater from And Bagus on Coco? Right? Well, Coco did too and she ended up purchasing this piece from me after our session because its just so perfect on her. Pink is her favorite color, not sure if that was obvious or not. lol
A little bit about Andi Bagus: they’re a women led business that started with a passion and love of creativity. It became an internationally recognised business with loyal customers all over the world. Female artist Andi, with expertise and knowledge in textures and colours pushes the boundaries of swimwear and continually creates innovative and glorious new designs. Andi sees no limits with crochet and constantly discovers ways to develop the method to make one-off couture pieces that are accessible to all.
Tiffany left this kind review on my website:
Thank you Tiffany and Coco! So thankful our creative paths crossed. Looking forward to working with this dynamic tween for many years to come!
Schedule a photo session with me soon, my books are filling up.
