Midtown-
Nestled on "the grid” of Midtown Sacramento are wonderful small businesses with vibrant designs and murals. Places like Sun & Soil Juice Company- Open since 2011 this women owned vegan juice bar and eatery is good vibes - and Kulture -Small independent gift shop open since 2015 stocking Mexican style artwork, ornaments & crafts. *hot tip - check your surroundings because you may find a new mural or stree art close by!




WPA - Rock Garden in Land Park
While not entirely hidden, William Land Park often escapes the photographers radar. This lesser known area of William Land Park can transport your photoshoots to another time. This expansive park features the Sacramento Zoo, Fairytale Town, and tranquil gardens, making it an ideal destination for photographers working on senior pictures, prom portraits, or family sessions.






McKinley Rose Garden -
Tucked away in East Sacramento, the McKinley Park Rose Garden is a floral paradise that often goes unnoticed by tourists, phtographers, and locals alike. With over 1,000 varieties of roses in full bloom, it's the perfect place for a prom photoshoot, engagement photoshoot, or for a sporty Senior Portrait session as there are various sports fields and courts at the park!





Old Sacramento-
As the city's historic heart, Old Sacramento is a photographer's dream. Cobblestone streets, vintage storefronts, and horse-drawn carriages create a timeless ambiance. Capture the historic Delta King riverboat, the Tower Bridge in the backdrop, and the historic steam locomotive at the California State Railroad Museum. This area is especially picturesque during twilight hours. WE LOVE a great Golden Hour photoshoot.










R Street Corridor-
Explore the trendy R Street Corridor, where old warehouses have been transformed into stylish boutiques, galleries, and restaurants. It's the perfect place to discover local art, fashion, and cuisine in a unique urban setting. You have amazing eateires up and down R St and also on the surrounding blocks close by. Like Hook & Ladder, which has an airplane hanger look to it which is great for photoshoots!
Just like most neighborhoods in Midtown Sacramento, you can find wonderful murals and street art for your photoshoot back drop.
After your photoshoot and shopping spree at Anthropologie you can head to Q and 19th to Truitt Bark Park with your four legged bff to get some zoomies out! Their BARK letters are fun and interesteing archetcture to pose with for pictures.

Propagate Sac is a lovely women owned plant store in a beautiful historic building in the heart of midtown, Sacramento.
If you happen to be on K Street downtown near the Crest Theatre, you HAVE to head next door to Capitol Books and make your way onto their roof top (PS ASK FIRST). You will get one of the most unique backdrops of the Crest sign. It feels like Hollywood in the heart of Sacramento!
