My photoshoot with Mikky was amazing! She won my 'LMCStyleCloset' contest. This is a session with free wardrobe styling by me, plus professional hair and makeup! Hair for Mikky was done by Tatianna of Evergreen Salon and Spa and her makeup was done by Sara Garcia Makeup Artistry. To complete her look I chose 2 outfits for Mikky to meet her requests for her classic, fun and flirty photoshoot.I hope this session can showcase what the Styling, Hair and Makeup packages with the #LMCStyleCloset can offer! When Mikky and I consulted on the 'look and vibe' she wanted a classic modern look. Therefore she wanted clean lines, and something ageless. Makeup artist Sara gave Mikky a beautifully done eye with plum tones, and golds. In order to brighten the look she added a warm white so Mikky's eyes would pop. Also a classic pale pink lip was perfect with this dress. 
The day was incredibly windy but Hairstylist Tatianna managed it and gave Mikky a classic curl that flirty, fun and versatile!
We headed to downtown Sacramento, near the Capitol Building where we took advantage of the city streets and Capitol Gardens. 
Mikky's first dress I chose was a classic, A-Line, Tea Length dress by the amazing Adrianna Papell! You may know her for her very popular Bridesmaid dress designs, but she also makes amazing cocktail dresses. With a touch of personal, Mikky wore her mom's amazing red shoes!! Since the dress was high-neckline we chose simple earrings to pair it with!
In between our outfit changes, we took a little break from the heat at the coffee shop near my studio. I had to take a few shots while we chatted about our lives and interests. One thing I loved about Mikky (and seriously what's not to love?) was her passion for her culture. Her personality was so bright, happy and colorful. This ended up altering my suggestions for the second outfit!
The next outfit I suggested for Mikky from the #LMCStyleCloset was something with a classic silhouette but modern print and style. As you can see in the photo above, the top was from Sacramento's own Sugar Shack Boutique skirt is from Forever 21. This bright, fun, pop of color was perfect for the second half of our shoot! We headed around the corner from my studio called Kulture which is a shop that carries Mexican Art, Cultural Fashion, and vintage items. I wanted to take advantage of their bright red storefront!
Next we walked down to Jazz Alley, an alley with a cornucopia of murals! This is one of my favorite spots in the city to shoot!
This is when Mikky told me 'I feel so gorgeous right now' and I asked 'Who is the most gorgeous woman you can think of?' She replied, 'Selena!!' I yelped, because I ADORE Selena!!! I asked if she would be okay if I played some Selena's music. We rocked it out! Check out those moves!
Our last stop was around the corner to The Governor's Mansion. Although we didn't spot Jerry Brown, we sure did take some fun shots right before sundown.
