Madi’s Teen Couture Session
I had the pleasure of working with one of my Team LMCP Juniors this year for her Teen Couture Session and just had to take you all along for our day! Madi is going to be a senior next year (woohoo class of 2023!!) and is a dedicated dancer and ballerina. She has studied Ballet for TEN YEARS! She’s basically a pro. Her home away from home, Studio Dance 65 is where she competes in dance competitions when she’s not being your regular Junior in high school. You can see her dance background in the effortless way she poses and uses movement to capture these striking images. She’s always giving Posing Inspiration to her Team LMCP cohorts!
First look is reminisce of her first session with me last year. When taking photos over the years, it’s nice to have a through line, so we chose a dress with a similar silhouette in a different color.

Madi loves this green tulle skirt and KNEW she wanted this for her Teen Couture Session. So we paired it with this dusty pink top and it was a gorgeous combo. Madi’s favorite location was paired with her favorite outfit! She loved posing in the cactus garden, even when she almost fell backwards into the Prickly Pear Cactus! lol Her stellar dancer reflexes came in handy there.
I did the top knot and reinvigorated her curls as Madi opted for 1 HMUA package. Occasionally I can pull out some fun hair looks. Elysa gave us a sample of a gorgeous custom red lip to use for the 3rd look.
The white and grey backdrops are actually the same, it just all has to do with some fun lighting tricks!
Just want to say how proud I am of Madi for all the work she does. She’s so involved at school studying hard in her classes, being a team leader on her school’s Dance Team, being a ballerina, competing in dance competitions with Studio 65, and being a beloved member of Team LMCP 2021. Her days run from 7am-9pm at night sometimes! Her mom Kelly says she’s grateful Madi drives herself these days but she admits she will make sure Madi has dinner to go for the drive from School to Dance rehearsals. I just love the supportive and loving relationship this mother-daughter duo has.
