Model Portfolio Development | NYREE

Model portfolio development is important for building a successful modeling career.  The portfolio should show variety and versatility. This makes the model more desirable for a wider range of jobs. When I did this shoot for Nyree aka Slimm she was relatively new to modeling, but you wouldn't know it.  She is such a natural and is very comfortable taking direction in front of the camera. It is no surprise that a month after this shoot she was walking in London Fashion Week.Because Nyree was a new model she wanted to work on adding to her portfolio.  Her first modeling shoot was mostly outdoors with a variety of looks featuring long hair using wigs.  To give her portfolio broader appeal we focused on studio work. I chose a neutral beige background in order to highlight Nyree's naturally beautiful caramel toned skin. For Nyree's model portfolio development, I wanted to show off her natural hair, since her previous shoot used wigs.  Hairstylist Heather is a absolute pro with all different hair textures and she did a great job highlighting the beauty of Nyree's natural hair texture.  Each style was so different showing her versatility while being absolutely stunning. It was such a pleasure working with Nyree and I am thrilled for her success she has since walked in London Fashion Shows and modeled for local brands! This was a great shoot.
