Taylor’s Senior Portraits in Sacramento | Sneakerhead

I had the amazing chance to take Taylor’s senior portraits over the Summer and am absolutely in love with how the entire photoshoot turned out.
Taylor is a senior this year and on my LMCP Senior Team. She joined us last year for her first Teen Team and decided to join us again for this very special high school year. I am SO proud of the growth and hard work that Taylor has put into being in front of the camera. She was amazing to start and has excelled in posing and expressions. Take a look at her Senior Couture Session that we did around Downtown Sacramento and you will see the great talent that this class of 2024 senior posesses!
Taylor and family went for the works for this senior portrait session by choosing our Couture Session and our 3HMUA option that we offer to all Teen and Senior portrait sessions. Heather and Sara were able to create three different looks for each outfit. Heather is an incredible hairstylist who loved getting the chance to add flowers to Taylor's hair and then end the day off with some gorgeous space buns for her sneaker-head set up. Sara has this amazing ability to give natural fresh faced makeup and then with simple adjustments turn the makeup look from flirty to glam! I am always amazed by her talent. I think we all felt so lucky to have the team that we did for this photoshoot session.

1. What made you choose Lacey M Carroll as your photographer for your Senior Couture Session?
We loved the look of Lacy’s pictures but more than that we love the way Lacy makes people feel. She is so positive and and has such a good energy.
2. What did you envision your photoshoot would be like?
Since we worked with Lacy before the photo shoot was what I pictured it would be.
3. Which look turned out to be your favorite?
The Sneaker look (Us too! Everything about it was so unique! )
4. What was your favorite moment of the photoshoot?
I am not sure- it was a fun day. There were so many good moments.
5. Was there anything you'd do differently if you got to do the photoshoot again?
I would have like to do a few more casual/relaxed pictures. I loved the looks and all the pictures but I would like to have done a few less styled. (We call it a Senior Couture look for a reason! But we understand that sometimes you just want pictures that feel casual!)
6. Anything you'd like to be included in the blog post about you and your experience?
Lacy and the whole team are great, it is such a positive and fun experience.
7. Any advice you'd want to give incoming Seniors who are getting their Senior Portraits done?
I would say, have fun with it and think about what you want the pictures for. Are you making a book or graduation announcements, are there things you want to pull into the shoot to remember this time. What you are going to use the pictures for should help influence the looks you select.
Congratulations to this amazing girl! She’s been early accepted into the university that she watned to go to! We are so proud of you!
