Destination Sessions: Joshua Tree - Sacramento Senior Photographer

I was looking forward most to this day when planning my annual Destination photoshoot session. This year we took members of the LMCPTeam (and anyone else who wanted to sign up on my mailing list. ) packed up and headed to Palm Springs! Day one with the Model Team we headed into Joshua Tree for a stunning and dynamic golden hour photoshoot. We wanted the style of this shoot to be very bohemian and dreamy - etherial and edgy! We definitely achieved this, by mixing natural fabrics, metal accents, and flowing details. I loved the especially with the rented parachute dresses from Alice Andrews Designs! Megan and Chloe were both rocking these looks! We styled everything else from our LMC Style Closet. (and photographers did you know you can rent items from the LMC Style Closet?! Reach out!)

Just want to give a HUGE shout out to the amazing HMUA (that’s hair and makeup) crew that created these gorgeous looks. Deys and Heather were so kind and easy to work with for both days of our destination photoshoot! If you are in the LA/OC area looking for a makeup artist check Deys out!
Right before the sun finally set behind the rocky mountains of Joshua Tree National Park we got a few of our Team LMCP models to change into their second looks. We moved to a another spot in the area we were in and got some of my favorite shots from the day! I am so in love with the way this destination editorial photoshoot turned out. The teens were so professional and excited to be there, the parents were a HUGE help and always there to hold a light or keep the other teens entertained between shooting times. I was surrounded by helpful and kind folks. I absolutely LOVE being a Sacramento Photographer but it made me a better photographer getting out of town and shooting some place new. Highly recommend setting up a destination photoshoot of your own. If you’re interested in a mentoring session, contact me here!
