Sacramento Teen - Cooper | Teen Session

Who can turn the world on with a smile??? Obviously Cooper can.

Cooper is smiling sweetly at the camera. He is leaning against a vibrant red tiled wall and wearing a burnt orange suede jacket with a shirt of the same color underneath.

Boom. That’s the shot. A personal favorite of the model himself. :)

Cooper is at the corner of a blue wall and a yellow wall. He is in an editorial post with his foot pushing against the blue wall. He is wearing black doc martins, blue jeans, a mustard yellow graphic tee and a black and white plaid sports jacket.

One minute he’s sweet and the next he’s Top Model!

Cooper is not your average teenager. Yeah, student from the Sacramento area but he is also a model, artist, crafter, dancer, actor and all around ray of sunshine. He is a natural in front of the camera. It was hard to pick shots from our shoots in 2020 and 2021 to talk about because there were so many magazine-worthy shots to choose from.

Three images of Cooper sitting on a stool with a light grey background. He is wearing black Docs, black ripped jeans, a black tee, a white leather jacket and a black hat. In one image he is signing "I love you"

Give us Rock n Roll Cooper!

When I met Cooper in 2020 he was interested in becoming a part of my LMCP Team. But he inquired right after my team was cast already… Nonetheless, I knew Cooper was destined to be in front of my camera and we scheduled a Teen Shoot which would take us from some very editorial and inspired images in my Sacramento studio as well as some iconic and images on location in Midtown Sacramento.

Cooper is in all black sitting on a stool in front of a light grey background. He is looking serious but coyly at the camera.

I can imagine this image in a Nylon (fashion magazine) publication.

Cooper is wearing a cow print zip up jacket with a blush tee under, blue jeans, and some hot-pink Doc Martins. All three images are in various spots of a parking garage.

This parking garage in midtown is one of my secret places I like to go for on location photo shoots.

Three images of Cooper. One of his sliding down the railing of steps in front of a stone building, one of Cooper smiling at the camera, and one of him in front of an old wooden door.

I love this compilation of images. They show the range of physicality and emotions that Cooper can convey. Good job Cooper!

Three images of Cooper all of him wearing a jean jacket, black and white checkered tee, and ripped blue jeans. He is smiling in the first two and the last he is serious while pulling up the hood of the jean jacket.

Cooper has an eye for styling looks. Many, of these looks were styled by him and his mom Nicole who is a fashionista herself! She’s a gal after my own heart :)

Cooper and Nicole have an eye for fashion and they love to style all of his shoots. Everything he picks is either perfect or inspires me to find something from my LMCP Style Closet to finish off the look.

In September 2021 I asked Cooper to join me at the Snapshot Conference 2021. Snapshot the Conference is geared toward photographers who specialize or want to specialize in high school teens and seniors.

It’s 3 days of in-depth education covering the entire shooting process including:

I have the honor of being one of the educators for Snapshot the Conference again this year and you can benefit from this! I have a $100 off code if you use LACEY100 at checkout. Sign up for Snapshot 2022 here! (9/18-9/21, 2022)

Cooper is in the middle of a walkway stuck with gum jumping in the air with his legs in a split like position. He is smiling looking left wearing red plaid pants, a black logo tee and a black leather jacket.

We jump for joy whenever Cooper is around too.

Cooper was such a great model attending so many shoots and absorbing all that he could from the three day conference in SLO, CA. He had so much fun posing in front of many cameras and again, styling all his looks for this momentous occasion.

Cooper is outside wearing a paisley inspired red button up shirt with a feather like vest on and patchwork blue jean.

I’m getting the Partridge Family meets California Boho.

Two images of Cooper sitting at an old wood table, He is on an iron chair wearing a beige hat, patterned button down shirt, and grey/beige plaid pants. In one image you can see his beige flats.

He’s either posing on a Tuscan villa or on the Central Coast of California. You decide.

Hoping Cooper and more of my LMCP Team 2021 can join me again for this year’s conference. Having my clients get out of their comfort zones and learn about the industry in this safe environment along with me is always very special.

Cooper is on a peir in SLO wearing red and white veritcal striped overalls. a white tee underneath. In two images he is backlit by the sun and wearing a white jacket over his outfit. In one image he has on blue sunglasses.

Using the sun as my backdrop can produce iconic images like these!

two images of Cooper swinging from an iron awning on the streets of San Lois Obisbo. He's in red plaid pants, black converse, a black graphic tee, and a black leather jacket.

Just another couple images of Cooper using the surrounding area as his modeling playground.

I can’t end this blog without mentioning how talented Cooper is not just in front of the camera as a male model but also off camera as an expert crafter. He makes handmade personalized greeting cards for his friends and family. And even me! :) You can actually catch Cooper on an episode of Craftopia an HBOMax original show. He’s in the Christmas episode! You gotta watch it!

a teen boy posing with some great vertical striped pants on and a bold red blazer. He's with his bff in one image

From a 2021 BFF Shoot we had. Cooper opted to include his adorable best Mari! This was such a fun day!

I’d love to hear if you saw Cooper’s episode of Craftopia or if you’re interested in the Snapshot Conference in 2022.

xoxo
