Back To School Can Be Oh So Cool | Team LMCP Edition
Team LMCP teamed up with Plato’s Closet in Roseville for the ultimate thrifted Back to School styles for any teenager!
Cozy, comfy, cool, sporty, punky, chic. Whatever your style, thrift stores like Plato’s Closet Roseville will have it!
Whether you’re starting your 2022/23 school year this week or in the upcoming weeks, we have some great eco-friendly items that will be a staple in your back to school style rotation.
Firstly, we cannot thank Liz enough for partnering with us to bring our Team LMCP Spokemodels to her shop, Plato’s Closet in Roseville!
Liz and her brother co-own the Plato’s Closet in Roseville and we were lucky enough to be invited over to create some eco-friendly and mega-stylish Back-to-School styles!
The team and I had SO much fun shopping for looks that best represented their back to school vibes. Some of the girls were loving the amazing selection of skirts offered on the racks! Subtle camo, corduroy, bright colors, and comfy fabrics were what these high schoolers were after. A comfortable skirt can be the foundation of many styles. Casual, preppy, boho, sporty, rock n roll and so many other styles! You can see below how versatile an outfit starring a skirt can be!

Maliya in a bright red linen romper w/chic white tee under, Sydney chose natural toned Camo cargo skirt w/ a cream cropped tank, Madi went for a pleated plaid skirt and smart black cardigan, Mya loved this dusty pink corduroy skirt and lime green crop turtleneck, Sofia went with this Mediterranean inspired blue sundress.

Summer chose a camel and white color blocked tee to go with some high waisted blue jeans, Jazlyn showed her team colors by wearing an A’s hat and v-neck A’s shirt, Madi found a soft white buttoned tee to go with her orange daisy patterned pants, Cooper found this Supreme football like jersey and some really sharp looking black jeans, Ivy was loving this y2k blue tie dye long sleeve shirt to go with some distressed light wash straight legged jeans.
Being comfortable and cozy was a big thing for our Team LMCP 2022 spokesmodels. Being as close to pajamas and yet still be in school appropriate clothes is truly the aesthetic these teens wanted! Soft tees and pants were coveted! Like the soft 70s inspired pants that Madi is wearing above center! Cozy sweaters and well worn denim were a must! Our teens were drawn to a lot of green, purple, orange, and neural tones. Expect to see a lot of those colors around school this year and we can see why! They’re great on every skin tone and size!
Did you know that you can find designer styles at Plato’s Closet?! Cooper found a like new Supreme top (above, right) on the racks and got it for a fraction of the original price!

McKenna loved this graphic “Your Voice, Your Vote” tee paired with some nice blue jeans, Mya was loving this pink cropped hoodie and straight legged jeans, Taylor found this incredible 90s inspired purple cable knit sweater and black bike shorts, Sabrey was living it up in a red collared crop top and classic “boyfriend” style jeans, and Cooper found a y2k orange turtleneck with stripes down the sleeves. All comfy and all super stylish for Back To School!

Sydney doubled up in denim with dark wash slight flare jean and a white denim jacket. She found a green mock turtleneck sweater to go with!
Sofía jumped right into this really fun denim jumpsuit. So good for days when you just don’t want to deal with an outfit because it’s an outfit all in one!
MaKenna found some button up cropped jeans to go with this sweater like fabric green top. The tie in the back of this top is such a cute feature!
